Get Downloader and allow app installation on your Fire Stick or onn streaming device. Open the quick guide below to get started.
Setup guide: Fire Stick & onn devices
Fire Stick / Fire TV · Fire OS
- Get Downloader: From the home screen, open Find / Search. Search for Downloader by AFTVnews (orange icon), then choose Get or Download.
- Reveal developer options: Open Settings → My Fire TV → About. Highlight your device’s name and press the remote’s Select / OK button 7 times until the developer message appears. Go back to My Fire TV.
- Allow Downloader: Open Developer options → Install unknown apps → Downloader and turn it On. Older Fire OS versions may call this “Apps from Unknown Sources.”
These steps apply to Android-based Fire OS devices. Fire TV devices running Vega OS cannot install these Android APKs.
onn · Google TV / Android TV
- Get Downloader: Open Apps and search for Downloader by AFTVnews, or search in Google Play Store. Choose Install. If search is unclear, try “AFTVnews.”
- Reveal developer options: Open Settings → System → About. Highlight Android TV OS build (or Build) and press OK 7 times until the developer message appears. On older Android TV devices, look under Device Preferences → About.
- Allow Downloader: Open a downloaded APK in Downloader. If installation is blocked, select Settings in the prompt and allow installs for Downloader. You may also find this under Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps or Security & restrictions.
Menu names vary by model and software version. Developer options and permission to install unknown apps are separate settings.
Ready to download? Open Downloader, enter https://hostsparkle.com, and select Go. Choose an app below, then select Install when prompted. ADB / USB debugging is not needed for Downloader.

In Downloader, use the arrows to move the cursor over Download APK, then press the center / OK button. If a button still does not respond, enter its direct URL in Downloader’s Home address box and select Go.
